Epitech Students Are Committed to Bringing More Diversity to Tech!
At Epitech, we don’t just train tech experts who will become among the most recognized in their field and in the broader IT ecosystem.
Within our school, students also learn to become socially engaged citizens—individuals open to the world around them and eager to put their skills at the service of others. This commitment is demonstrated through the numerous initiatives, best practices, and concrete actions we develop each year to promote inclusion and diversity on our campuses and, later, in the workplace.

Why Diversity is important for a Tech Company and how to integrate it ?
The lack of diversity and gender balance is currently a thorn in the side of the tech sector. From promising start-ups to established Tech unicorns, and including higher education institutions specializing in IT and digital, every component of the ecosystem faces a critical challenge: making tech a more inclusive environment by encouraging a wider range of profiles to get involved—starting with women, who remain underrepresented among employees and leaders. This imbalance is striking in an era of digital transformation, which affects every layer of society—and Epitech cannot ignore it. That is why the school has been taking action for many years. And even though achieving greater parity remains a long journey, Epitech firmly believes that action is the best solution!

At Epitech, we say yes…
Yes to more diversity and equality in tech.

Coding Clubs
Coding Clubs are free coding workshops for middle and high school students, led by Epitech students across France. They introduce participants to coding and the tech sector in all its diversity (video games, cybersecurity, robotics, etc.). To join a Coding Club and attend a workshop, students simply register on the website and choose the nearest Epitech campus.
Yes to the feminization of digital professions, in Tech and beyond!
The Epitech/Article 1 Mentorship Program
In collaboration with Article 1 and the Amazon Future Engineer Program, Epitech has developed a scholarship program benefiting young women aspiring to join higher education and become the future talents of the tech sector. Each year, 15 future female students are supported to pursue tech studies (Grande École Program) through a tailored mentoring program.
The goal of the Amazon Future Engineer Program is clear: ensure equal opportunities in higher education and tech, helping build promising careers for women who are still underrepresented in the field.
Yes to bridging the digital divide
Diversity by Epitech
To make tech accessible to everyone, the Diversity by Epitech program promotes inclusion by guiding anyone interested in understanding the challenges of the digital world.
The results speak for themselves: 6,000 students participate annually, dedicating ten half-days each to reducing inequalities in tech, totaling nearly 30,000 days of action. These initiatives are open to all!

Epitech is committed to guiding its students’ thinking. Throughout their studies, students meet numerous tech professionals and experts from other sectors—whether start-up founders, corporate leaders, or domain specialists. By giving students access to those who live the tech world daily, Epitech instills awareness of topics like digital gender balance and the inclusion of people with disabilities.
Throughout their studies, students are encouraged to design projects addressing both today’s and tomorrow’s challenges. Accessibility, inclusion, diversity, feminization of tech, and GreenTech are just a few of the topics discussed by professionals who engage with them.
